THE BLOG: It is essentially a Visual Diary that began with sketches I completed in my breaks at work. These days however I find myself sketching at other times also. Everything in my Sketch Pad is there for a reason, so everything gets uploaded … the good, the bad and the smudgy!
THE POSTS: I generally do not write much to go along with my sketches. In most cases I will try to let the image and a quote work together to express what I think or feel.
THE FREQUENCY: Typically I only post once or twice per week.
THE LUNCHBREAK COUNT: This began as a literal count, but as I now spend more time on each sketch, it has evolved into a scale of time and difficulty. As a rough guide, if you multiply the “lunchbreaks” by 2, you will have a reasonable idea of the maximum number of hours I spent on the respective sketch. I am rather slow.
